About me …

I take great pride in my work and consistently strive for excellence in all my endeavors. As a geotechnical engineer and full-stack programmer, I bring a unique blend of expertise to my profession. Born in Iraq in 1990, I demonstrated educational talent early on, achieving a flawless 100/100 grade in primary school and earning the prestigious rank of #1 student in the IQ entrance exam for the gifted-students high school in 2002. I began my Bachelor’s program in Civil Engineering at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in 2008, graduating as the top student in my department (Class of 2012) in an impressive 3.5 years. During this time, I earned the distinction of being a High Honor Student on seven occasions. My graduation project focused on pioneering mass production techniques for adobe bricks.

Continuing my academic journey, I pursued a Master of Science program at Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) in Ankara, Turkey. In 2015, I successfully completed my thesis, a remarkable study conducted in collaboration with MIT-Assoc. Prof. Kartal Toker. This research involved developing a computer-controlled triaxial test setup and conducting an in-depth investigation of multistage triaxial testing on sand.

Since 2012, I have been an integral part of the ALFA Testing Equipment family, initially serving as a Sales Engineer. Currently, as the Deputy General Manager, I hold a wide range of responsibilities, including CRM, sales, ERP implementation, programming, technical support, electronics, automation, manufacturing and logistics follow-up, digitalization and enterprise solutions, R&D, information technology, graphic design, and labeling.

In 2023, I started my PhD studies in Geotechnical Engineering at the esteemed Middle East Technical University in Ankara, under the guidance of the distinguished Dr. Kartal Toker. This incredible opportunity will open new horizons in geotechnical engineering, and I am thrilled to dive deep into this fascinating field. By merging the academic expertise gained at METU with the advantages provided by ALFA, I am confident in my ability to make substantial contributions to the progression of geotechnical engineering. This unique combination will allow me to produce innovative testing equipment and conduct essential R&D to further enhance their capabilities.
